Disturbance Distance Overlay
The Disturbance Distance Overlay is a grid overlay which shows the spatial effect and reach of the disturbance caused by some types of buildings. The range of disturbance caused by buildings is defined by their disturbance distance. A disturbance can be anything. Some examples include foul smells or loud noise.
By default, the Overlay will display the disturbance caused by buildings as a spectrum from red to green, with the colors indicating the distance to the building causing the disturbance. The color only indicates distance, and not intensity.
Additional information displayed in hover panel
When clicking on a specific location on the map, the hover panel shows the distance from that location to the nearest building causing a disturbance.
Adjust the safety zone for a function
In the function values table, each function has a disturbance distance value. This value can be changed by the user.
