Surface water level is calculated per cell.

WLsurface = Wsurface + Hsurface

Where:

  • WLsurface = The water level, relative to datum.
  • Wsurface = The amount of water (the water column) on the surface.
  • Hsurface = The terrain height in the cell, relative to datum.
