What is a template
tem·plate noun \ˈtem-plət\
- crafts: a shape or pattern that is cut out of a hard material (such as metal or plastic) and used to make the same shape and pattern in other pieces of material
- computers : a computer document that has the basic format of something (such as a business letter, chart, graph, etc.) and that can be used many different times
- general: something that is used as an example of how to do, make, or achieve something
Using templates in the Tygron Engine
- In the Tygron engine it is possible to take the game elements only from an existing game - Stakeholders, Indicators, Actions, etc - and transpose these over to a new area. This is very convenient in case a similar spatial issue is at hand on different locations. This functionality also enables the user to make elaborate predefined actions or custom indicators, which can easily be transposed as a template game to another area.
Default templates in the Tygron Engine
- There are two default games available in the Tygron Engine as templates: Climategame and Bedrijventerrein. Please select the linked names of these games for more information about the specific types of games these templates contain..
How to add your own template
- Users can easily add their own game to the list of available template games. However, this can only be done by users with Domain Admin rights.
