Surface water level formula (Water Overlay)

Surface water level is calculated per cell.

WL_surface = W_surface + H_surface

Where:

• WL_surface = The water level, relative to datum.

• W_surface = The amount of water (the water column) on the surface.
• H_surface = The terrain height in the cell, relative to datum.
