Drainage behavior

  • In case the value is positive and non-zero, this value represents the distance between the Surface and the Groundwater Level. In that case, the Water Level will always remain the same.
  • In case the value is negative and non-zero, either the configured passive Hi or Low Drainage value for the Subsidence Overlay will be used to determine the distance between the Surface and the Groundwater Level. Also note that the actual negative value itself is not used.
  • In case the value is zero, the Drainage has no influence on the Groundwater Level. In this case the general method to calculate the distance between the Surface and the Groundwater Level is used.
