High ground water prequel (Subsidence Overlay)
Revision as of 16:37, 10 February 2022 by Frank@tygron.nl (talk | contribs) (Frank@tygron.nl moved page High ground water level GeoTIFF (Subsidence Overlay) to High ground water level prequel (Subsidence Overlay))
The initial high groundwater level in the Subsidence Module at the start of the simulation can be initialized using a prequel Grid Overlay.
In the Subsidence Overlay Wizard it is possible to select one of the Default datasets provided, to import a GeoTIFF or to do nothing and proceed with the next step.

Description | The depth of the ground water level, relative to the surface. | ||||||||
Value | High Groundwater level (m below terrain height) |
Default data
For the Netherlands, a number of groundwater GeoTIFFs are provided by default, based on data provided by The Netherlands Hydrological Instrumentarium:
- NL_GHG_kk-nhi (Average highest watertable)
- NL_GLG_kk-nhi (Average lowest watertable)
- NL_GVG_kk-nhi (Average spring watertable)
These GeoTIFFs can be linked to the Subsidence Overlay using a GeoTIFF Overlay and configuring this as the prequel to the High ground water level.
Notes
- When no GeoTIFF is selected or imported, the water levels of groundwater level areas are used to initialize groundwater levels.
