A breach can be imported for a water calculation when using the configuration wizard of a Flooding Overlay.

Template:Editor ribbon

How to import a breach for a Flooding Overlay:
  1. Prepare a GeoJSON file with the desires data for the breach.
  2. Ensure the GeoJSON file also contains the feature for the breach input area.
  3. Open the configuration wizard of the Flooding Overlay.
  4. Continue to the step concerning breaches.
  5. Select the 'import' option. This will open the Geo data wizard.
  6. Follow the steps in the Geo data wizard.
  7. When the Geo Data Wizard is completed and closed, the breach and the input area have been imported.
  8. Select the breach
  9. For the breach input area, select the (other) imported area.
  10. The configuration wizard of the Flooding Overlay can now be closed as well.

Notes

Breaches can also affect Water Overlays other than the Flooding Overlays.

If the Water Overlay you are using is not a Flooding Overlay, it is also possible to manually import the breach via the Geo data wizard directly.
