When working with the full groundwater model of the Water Overlay, underground seepage may present a significant factor in the underground water balance. For these situations, underground seepage can be configured.

For seepage to be functional, two Seepage GeoTiffs are required and must be prepared beforehand.

Editor → Current Situation (Ribbon tab) → Overlays (Ribbon bar) → Water Overlay (Left panel) → Configuration Wizard (Right panel) → Seepage
How to configure constant seepage:
  1. Open the Water Overlay configuration wizard, and proceed to the seepage step.
  2. Opt to select seepage GeoTiffs and define the seepage factor.
  3. Directly under the dropdown for the pressure GeoTiff, select "Import".
  4. Import your GeoTiff with seepage pressure values.
  5. Ensure the pressure GeoTiff dropdown is set to your uploaded GeoTiff for pressures.
  6. Directly under the dropdown for the resistance GeoTiff, select "Import".
  7. Import your GeoTiff with seepage resistance values.
  8. Ensure the pressure GeoTiff dropdown is set to your uploaded GeoTiff for resistances.
  9. Close the configuration wizard, and recalculate the Overlay.
