Requirements

System Specifications

Tygron's products utilize gaming technology as their driving force, most notably the 3D visualisation. This technology does mean a computer must meet certain requirements to be able to run Tygron products. Below the recommended system specifications.

Processor	Intel Core i3 Processor (2.0GHz or more)
Memory	2 GB RAM memory or more
Graphics card	Has to support OpenGL 3.2 or higher, with a benchmark score exceeding 400. (This score can be found at www.videocardbenchmark.net or determined with the System Test software.)
Screen resolution	1024 x 768 pixels or higher
Operating system	Windows 7, 8
Browser	Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 9 and higher versions that support Java Plugin version 8 and provide sufficient start-up rights.

Note: The application can also run on systems with lower hardware specifications with a minimum of OpenGL 2.0 support for the videocard. In the case of such systems, it has to be remembered that the End Users will experience lower visual quality and reduced stability.

We can advise NVIDIA Geforce GT740 for desktop computers and NVIDIA Geforce GT740M for laptops (or better!).

Test Tool

To verify that a system is able to run the Tygron Engine, we have offer the Test Tool. This application will analyse the specifications of your computer, and provide you with a score to indicate how well your system will perform. The test requires that the software specification listed below are in order.

Test Tool

When this test is performed you can choose to send the results to Tygron automatically. This is automatically done for scores of ‘LOW’ or ‘UNKNOWN’. Scores of ‘MEDIUM’ or ‘HIGH’ are recommended for a proper experience.

Software Guide

Browser

Computers to be used with the Tygron Engine need to have some software (Browser and Java) installed. Please make sure the following are available on your system. Your browser must the most recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Your browser must also have Javascript enabled. This is enabled by default for most browsers.

Drivers

Please make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your video card from the orginal manufactor. Below a list of videocard driver download locations:

Java

Find the block with the proper "SE Runtime Environment". Accept the Oracle License Agreement. Download the version indicated on the Wiki (left). Please note that the image is only a visual reference.

The Tygron Engine requires Java to function correctly. In general, we recommend the most recent version of Java. The latest supported version of Java is Template:Java version.

For Windows, please select "Windows x86 Offline".

For Mac OS X, please select "Mac OS X x64", specifically the ".dmg" download.
