For a Water Overlay, the watertable can be defined by a groundwater GeoTIFF.

Editor → Current Situation (Ribbon tab) → Overlays (Ribbon bar) → The Water Overlay (Left panel) → Configuration Wizard (Right panel)
How to connect a default groundwater GeoTIFF to a Water Overlay:
  1. Open the configuration wizard of the Water Overlay.
  2. Continue to the step concerning ground water.
  3. Opt for "Select a Groundwater Depth Grid Overlay".
  4. Click on the button "Add new GeoTIFF Overlay", select the desired GeoTIFF.
  5. Close the wizard.

Notes

  • Note that default provided GeoTIFFs may not have worldwide coverage. For example, the default NHI GeoTIFFs only provide coverage in the Netherlands.
