For a Water Overlay, the watertable can be defined by a groundwater prequel. GeoTIFF overlays can be selected as a prequel overlay.
Editor → Current Situation (Ribbon tab) → Overlays (Ribbon bar) → The Water Overlay (Left panel) → Configuration Wizard (Right panel)
How to connect a default groundwater GeoTIFF to a Water Overlay:
- Open the configuration wizard of the Water Overlay.
- Continue to the step concerning ground water.
- Opt for "Select a Groundwater Depth Grid Overlay".
- Click on the button "Add new GeoTIFF Overlay", select the desired GeoTIFF.
- Close the wizard.
Notes
- Note that default provided GeoTIFFs may not have worldwide coverage. For example, the default NHI GeoTIFFs only provide coverage in the Netherlands.
