This functionality can be used to resolve some instances where an irregular bottom of [[terrain water (Water Overlay)|waterways]] would inhibit the proper flow of water. Because in slow-moving models there is little difference to to deep or shallow water if the amount of water flowing to adjacent cells is minimal, setting this attribute to a sufficiently low value can allow water to flow uninhibited by artifacts in the height of the waterway's bottom. | |||

MAX_WATER_BOTTOM_M | m + datum | The maximum height for the bottoms of water terrains. Any water terrain with a bottom at a higher datum height has its bottom lowered to this value. | 10000 |
This functionality can be used to resolve some instances where an irregular bottom of waterways would inhibit the proper flow of water. Because in slow-moving models there is little difference to to deep or shallow water if the amount of water flowing to adjacent cells is minimal, setting this attribute to a sufficiently low value can allow water to flow uninhibited by artifacts in the height of the waterway's bottom.
