|Open the Configuration Wizard

|Add the [[Heat_stress_(Overlay)|Heat Stress overlay]].
|In step 3.1 choose for the option import foliage areas (start geo data wizard).
|Open the Configuration Wizard.
|Click on the button Import foliage areas
|Choose the [[Heat_DPRA_Module|DPRA model]].
|Follow the steps in the [[Geo_Data_Wizard|Geo data wizard]]. In step 6, choose the attribute name that depicts the foliage height of your features (areas).
|Proceed and in step 3 choose Use a foliage height [[GeoTIFF]].
|Finish the Geo data wizard and proceed with the Heat wizard.
|In step 3.1 choose select a foliage height GeoTIFF.
|Click on the Import button.
|In the new panel that pops up, import your GeoTIFF. When the file is uploaded, click on the Apply button.
|Proceed with the Heatstress Configuration Wizard.

*The areas that need to be imported are areas of the foliage crown along with an attribute containing the height of the trees.
|notes=*The GeoTIFF needs to contain the foliage height, relative to the terrain height. Use a value of 0, <0 or a nodata value for the pixels where there is no foliage.
*When you have chosen to import foliage height areas, there is also an option to Do nothing. Then no foliage height is used. The third option: Select existing is only for if you already have imported these areas.
*The height of the already present tree [[Buildings]] are ignored when choosing to import and use the foliage height GeoTIFF.

How to import a foliage height GeoTIFF:
  1. Add the Heat Stress overlay.
  2. Open the Configuration Wizard.
  3. Choose the DPRA model.
  4. Proceed and in step 3 choose Use a foliage height GeoTIFF.
  5. In step 3.1 choose select a foliage height GeoTIFF.
  6. Click on the Import button.
  7. In the new panel that pops up, import your GeoTIFF. When the file is uploaded, click on the Apply button.
  8. Proceed with the Heatstress Configuration Wizard.

Notes

  • The GeoTIFF needs to contain the foliage height, relative to the terrain height. Use a value of 0, <0 or a nodata value for the pixels where there is no foliage.
  • The height of the already present tree Buildings are ignored when choosing to import and use the foliage height GeoTIFF.
