Surface evaporation is calculated per cell.
- Δh = min( h , Δt * Ew * Eo )
where:
- Δh = The amount of evaporation which takes place.
- Δt = Computational timestep in seconds.
- h = The amount of water on the surface. Also known as the water column.
- Ew = The evaporation rate of the weather.
- Eo = The SURFACE_WATER_EVAPORATION_FACTOR of the Water Overlay.
