| SOIL_WATER_RETENTION_CURVE | Integer | 0 to 1 | Setting a Soil Water Retention Curve adjust the vertical hydraulic conductivity in the Unsaturated Zone. | 0 |
Set this attribute to 1 and this can be done via the Van Genuchten-Mualem formula:
Where:
- = Is the calculated vertical hydraulic conductivity for the given saturation theta (greek: θ)
- = Is the saturated vertical hydraulic conductivity from Terrain ground infiltration md.
- = Is the effective saturation between 0-1 of the Unsaturated Zone. This is a fraction between Sr (assumed close to zero) and the Water storage percentage.
- =
- = Van Genuchten Soil parameter.

- This is still BETA functionality, disabled by default (
0).
