Areas with trees can more easily be created using parametric design than by drawing them manually.
How to create trees using parametric design:
- Determine the area where the trees should be present. This can be a large expanse of land, or a corridor between other buildings.
- Create a parametric design, configured with the Function appropraite for the desired trees.
- Draw the extent of the design over the desired area.
- Use the "road aligned" design type for corridors along roads, or "spaced" for all other situations.
- Verify that the generated selections look appropriate, and apply the design.
Notes
- It is only possible to create a single type of Function at a time when using parametric designs. If a greater variation is desired, parts of the result can either be edited, or removed so another parametric design can be applied in the same location.
