Version 2018.0.0 was released on engine.tygron.com on Friday January 26 2018

Geo

  • New Geo Data Wizard
  • Wider support for different online Geo Data sources. For example WFS and CSW. Also GML3 with old GML2 tags are now supported.
  • Improved filtering options to select specific features and assign them to specific stakeholders, functions, etc.
  • Generalized, all Geo data import now follows the same flow/wizard.
  • All objects now keep a source reference, that can be used to keep track of data changes/sources.
  • The Source Overlay that shows the different sources used in the project.
  • Geo data in different Coordinate Reference Systems are now supported in the Engine.
  • Option to select a specific Coordinate Reference System for exporting data.
  • Better "out-of-the-wizard" support for Satellite images and Height data outside of The Netherlands.
  • Also an option to import an elevation model.

Overlays

  • Updates to Rainfall configuration Wizard. For example feedback on invalid data in weirs, pumps, etc.
  • New Subsidence configuration Wizard.
  • Both Rain and Subsidence are connected to the Geo Data Wizard.
  • Avg Overlay can now also only calculate averages for single cells. Useful for showing rasterization of data used in other overlays.
  • Avg Overlay can now also show values from a specific layer (e.g. buildings or areas)

GUI

  • Improved Navigation Panel that makes it easier to switch between 2D Overview and 3D details.
  • Improved the address Search bar in the Navigation panel.
  • Zooming in can now also be done by double clicking in the map. Or just use space bar for faster switching.
  • Smaller overlay legend panel so it does not take up too much space.
  • Option to move a custom (excel) panel to another part of the screen.
  • Download bar when starting the application now correctly updates from 0%->100%.
  • Errors in TQL/Excel calculations are now displayed more prominent, so you cannot miss them anymore.

Other

  • Integration with the new FreshDesk Support Portal.
  • New underlying infrastructure of the Engine reduces the amount of connection lost messages.
  • Improved water visualization that reduces artifacts around banks/shores.
  • Easier to reset tokens for Web Clients.
  • Sessions marked as keep-alive will automatically be restarted after the server was down for maintenance.
  • TQL now has and new option DISTANCE, that can be used to get the distance between e.g. a Building and a Neighborhood.
  • You can now create a Global value directly from an TQL Query. This allows you to instantly see changing TQL Query values in the Global Values panel.
