Revision as of 13:26, 14 September 2023
The vegetation fraction is an attribute used by the Heat stress Overlay, and indicates the amount of vegetation per square meter. The vegetation fraction can be determined based on the presence of multiple types of data:
- If a building is present with a Green space function value, this value is used.
- Otherwise, the present terrain's VEGETATION_FRACTION attribute is used.
The vegetation factor cannot be overwritten by Areas.
Notes
- The DPRA Heat stress report prescribes[1] that during the way Water Terrain is considered vegetation, but at night is not considered vegetation.
