The Bowen ratio is a property of a surface, specifically the ratio between two types of heat transfer (sensible heat and latent heat). The wetter the surface, the lower the ratio.<ref name="bowen" />

Notes

  • The Foliage height for an area will be the same for each position in the area. The height is not interpolated as with the Foliage crown factor.
  • When multiple [Area|areas] overlap for a particular grid cell, the Foliage height is averaged.
