This tutorial describes how to import 2D spatial data using an SLPK file, for items such as Areas, Neighborhoods and Terrains.

How to import an SLPK file for 2D Spatial data:
  1. Open the Geo data wizard
  2. Choose as type Areas,Neighborhoods, Terrains or Zones
  3. Choose as import method the I3S SLPK file option
  4. In the next step, either choose any height option.
  5. Select a local file or from the Template:Share. After selecting the file, continue to step 4
  6. In step 4, choose one of the following options: either create a new building with the uploaded model (in the next steps you can choose a function for the new building). The second option is to replace the model of an existing building with the new model and create a new building if none is present. Or choose the third option to only replace the model of an existing building with the new model. The function and attributes will be kept, only the geometry is updated. If you have chosen this last option, you can finish the wizard.
  7. If you have chosen to create a new building, choose a name, function and stakeholders and then finish the wizard.
  8. Depending on the type you have chosen at the start of the Geo data wizard, the building is directly placed in the Tygron Platform project or a new Measure is created.

Notes

  • When the SLPK model contains no textures, the 3D model will be plain white
  • Currently, Wrap mode: repeat is not supported in atlas textures
  • Only textures in JPEG format are supported
